COGNOMEN 'OUTRO LADO' BOOK

Just as a coin has two sides and there are an A and a B side on a record, the bond between Japan and Brazil is just like the relationship between the sun and the moon,
bound together in symbiosis, despite being positioned on opposite sides of the earth.

The distinctive heat of South America, the liveliness of the Brazilian people, the energy before the carnival – in Rio de Janeiro there exists a January that is quite different from midwinter in Tokyo.

Initially, there was a sense of discomfort, but gradually, it transformed into a sense of comfort, and by the end of the journey, the brand COGNOMEN seemed to blend seamlessly into the city, becoming one.

In Brazil, particularly Rio de Janeiro, a place of multicultural coexistence, I have come to the conclusion that“only by finding value in one’s hidden aspects and acknowledging
one’s own diversity, can one break free from solitude and connect with others for the first time.”
